LS Series – Up to 5 kN
The LS Series are affordable, easy-to-use universal materials testing machines ideal for testing applications up to 5 kN (1124 lbf).
The machines use high-accuracy interchangeable YLC Series load cells for tension, compression and cycling through zero-force measurements.
The LS Series have a large working area and come in three sizes and capacities:
- LS1 (up to 1 kN/225 lbf)
- LS2.5 (up to 2.5 kN/562 lbf)
- LS5 (5kN/1124 lbf; high speed version available)
With the interchangeable grips and the wide range of test types in the NexygenPlus software, the LS materials testing machines are ideal for product development, production testing, and quality control that can perform a wide range of test types on materials such as plastic, rubber electronics, textiles, wood, packaging, medical devices, and cosmetics.

CS2 Series – Up to 5 kN
The CS2 Series are high quality digital force testing machines optimized for production testing of applications up to 5 kN (1124 lbf).

These robust force measurement machines provide their operators with an easy-to-use, intuitive and straight-forward method for tensile, compression, shear testing, flexural testing or advanced multi-stage testing adherent to ISO and ASTM testing procedures.
The CS2 Series is available in two different frame capacities:
- CS2-225, up to 1 kN (225 lbf), 180 mm throat depth, 500 mm crosshead travel
- CS2-1100, up to 5 kN (1124 lbf), 150 mm throat depth, 800 mm crosshead travel.
