Mentor Visual iQ with TrueSight
Mentor Visual iQ+ (MViQ+) offers HD quality image and video inspections with 3D Phase and 3D Stereo Measurement functions from Waygate Technologies. The new measurement capabilities include all historic length, depth & area measurement along with the ability of measuring Blade tip curl, Missing piece for blade corner which is essential for blending, and many more. The operator can then stitch together multiple 3D representations to form a composite image of the scene. The all new Automatic defect recognition helps the operator in assessing defects during inspection. The unit is also compatible with turning tools which can be operated and controlled from the Borescope handset. The ability of Voice activation allows the operator to control the probe with two hands and instruct the borescope to “take image” among other instructions. Use of MViQ+ video borescope (other names include endoscopes, video probe, remote visual inspection (RVI) equipment) is used for the following applications:
